Shanta is a qualified attorney with experience in various aspects of law. Shanta ran her law practice for many years with successful results. She was also a senior manager and acting executive at the Information Regulator of South Africa, working in both the access to information and the protection of personal information divisions for several years. She has clients in the private, public and NGO sectors. She represents parties in labour law and social justice issues. She is a skilled trainer in labour law, POPIA, PAIA and Constitutional rights. Shanta has successfully litigated matters, drafted compliance policies in the public and private sector and gives strategic public interest legal advice.
